Chairperson of Committees 7th Legislature (2024 – 2029)

Bishop Dulton K. Adams was appointed as the Chairperson of Committees of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. He provides oversight and leadership to ensure that all portfolio and oversight committees fulfil their constitutional mandate, operate effectively and promote transparent, accountable and people-centred governance.

Bishop Dulton K. Adams is a respected leader with a long history of public service, community engagement and governance. His leadership is grounded in integrity, service to the people and a commitment to building an inclusive and responsive Legislature.

Prior to his appointment as Chairperson of Committees, he has served in various leadership and community roles, contributing to the advancement of good governance, social cohesion and the empowerment of communities across Gauteng.

His appointment reflects the Legislature’s commitment to experienced and principled leadership, ensuring that committees remain effective instruments of oversight, public participation and service delivery.
