The Programming Committee is responsible for the programming, planning and coordination of the business of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
The Committee develops and monitors the legislative programme to ensure that committee work, debates and other parliamentary business are scheduled efficiently and in line with the strategic priorities of the Legislature.

The Programming Committee meets regularly to set and review the programme of the House.
Consideration of departmental quarterly performance report.
Departmental briefing on strategic plan and annual performance plan.
