The Rules and Standing Committee is responsible for considering, reviewing and making recommendations on the Rules of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature and any matters related to the procedures and practices of the Legislature.
The Committee ensures that the Legislature conducts its business in accordance with the Constitution, applicable legislation and established rules, and promotes effective, transparent and accountable processes.
